EtherCAT XML Device Description (ESI)
The zip file contains the XML Device Description Files for the Beckhoff EtherCAT products. Available are IP20, IP67, AX2000 and AX5000
The files should always be unpacked completely into the ESI-directory of the EtherCAT master. In TwinCAT 2.x this files are located in \TwinCAT\IO\EtherCAT, in TwinCAT 3.x they are located in \TwinCAT\3.x\Config\Io\EtherCAT. For other masters/configuration tools see description of the manufacturer. |

EtherCAT Systemmanager Extension
For some Beckhoff EtherCAT products the Beckhoff System Manager or
TwinCAT3 provides product-specific enhancements. If this support isn't included in your TwinCAT3/System Manager then
maybe you can install it seperately. Please contact support. |

EtherCAT fieldbus gateways
All the files are to be unpacked into the directory \TwinCAT\IO\<Feldbus>. They can be used after a TwinCAT reboot. |
